The ASA is pleased to provide you with Exhibitor information for the African Studies Association’s 49th Annual Meeting. The meeting will be held November 16-19, 2006, at the Westin St. Francis Hotel in San Francisco, CA.

 

The ASA’s Annual Meeting Coordinator, Kimme Carlos, will serve as your exhibit manager. As always, the ASA’s goal is to meet or exceed the expectations of exhibitors and Annual Meeting participants. The ASA would like to thank you for your business by offering the following discounts on the standard rates:

 

Early Bird Program: If full payment is received prior to March 31, 2006, you will receive a discount of 10%.

 

Refer A Friend Program: If you, as an exhibitor, refer a new exhibitor to the ASA’s 49th Annual Meeting, you will receive a discount of 5%.

 

Combination Program*:

$1050 Commercial/University Booth plus a Full Page Ad    Save $200!

$ 975 Charitable Organization Booth plus a Full Page Ad   Save $175!

 

* Refer A Friend and Early Bird discounts do not apply to the Combination Program.

 

Please print and complete and fax/mail applicable documents to the ASA Office by September 15, 2006. Exhibitor fees will increase after September 15. In the coming months you will receive a Booth Announcement Letter which will contain information about the exhibit hall decorator, the exhibit floor plan, and exhibitor guidelines.

Each 8x10 booth will be equipped with one 6 skirted table, two contour chairs, one wastebasket, and one 7x4 one line I.D. sign.

Advertising

Advertisements appear in the Annual Meeting program booklet, which is distributed to annual meeting attendees. The deadline for program advertisements is September 15. Advertisements may be sent electronically to Kimme Carlos, asaamc@rci.rutgers.edu. Subject line should indicate: ASA Final Program Ad Submission. The best programs to use are Quark, Photoshop and Word.
