NON RESIDENT TAX SOFTWARE FREE FOR RUTGERS-NEW BRUNSWICK INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS AND SCHOLARS

 

 

 

Dear New Brunswick international students and scholars:

 

Before reading any further, please first look at information available at 2003 Tax Year Info to determine if you are a nonresident or resident for federal income tax purposes. 

 

If you determine that you are a RESIDENT for federal tax purposes, please do NOT follow the instructions below!  Logging into the program will automatically use up one of the limited number of access codes we have paid for.  Because the program will not be able to help you as a resident for federal tax purposes, we ask that you not use one of these access codes up unnecessarily.  We appreciate your cooperation in this matter.

 

IF you determine that you are a nonresident for tax purposes, follow the instructions below to log into the NRAware Program.  The program will help you to complete your federal nonresident tax return forms.

 

 

HOW TO ACCESS NRAWARE

1. Click on this link:  Link to NRAWare!

2. Accept the certificate.

3. Login with your Rutgers NETID and password.

Note: If your Rutgers email address is “someone@eden.rutgers.edu”  then your Rutgers NETID username is "someone@eden."  Use the password associated with that username to log in.

4. Click on the link that says "NRAWare!".

5. Follow the instructions on the NRAWare page to continue.

 

PLEASE BE AWARE THAT WHEN YOU FINISH YOUR TAX FORM ON NRAWARE, YOU MUST PRINT IT OUT AND MAIL IT YOURSELF TO THE IRS at the address provided by the NRAware program.  The NRAware Program does NOT mail the form electronically for you.
