Welcome to the Fonseca Lab

We are located at the Center for Vector Biology in the Entomology Department of Rutgers University, NJ.We work on the ecology and evolution of mosquitoes (and now also ticks), particularly those introduced during the last 1-400 years into new areas.

The Fonseca lab is equipped with the necessary and sufficient tools for ecological and evolutionary (population to phylogenetic) studies. Details here.

We have access to lots of mosquito colonies in insectaries. Please inquire for a species list.
