2. Am
I able to make changes to my first semester schedule?
No. The
Office of Academic Services
develops your first semester schedule and
takes into account where and
when sections of courses meet
as well as the time needed by students for
studying. Students
are strongly urged to follow the schedule
of classes
as designed
for them by the Office for
the first week before making any changes.

3. How
do I find out what courses I am registered for?
As
noted in the answer to Question #1, an initial
listing of courses will be sent to students
listing
the
coursework
that
has transferred and the coursework,
if any, that still needs to be completed. Included
in the information packet will also
be a listing
of the courses for which you will be
registered
upon return of the necessary information
as outlined in the packet.

4. How
do I access the Touchtone Telephone Registration
System?
The Touchtone Telephone Registration System can be
accessed by call 1 (732) 445-1999.
At the main menu, choose Registration
Information (option 1).
You
will be asked to enter the semester of registration. For the Fall semester, the
code is "9". for the Spring, the
code is "1". For the Summer, the
code is "7".
Next, choose the option to list you
courses only (option 1).
You
will be asked for your nine-digit Student ID Number. This
is your Social Security Number.
Finally,
you will be asked for your Personal Access Code
or PAC. These are the
first four numbers of your birthday. It is
strongly recommended that you contact the Registrar's
Office to change this number to a number that only
you will know.
The system will then take a moment
or so and begin to read your schedule to you.

5. How
do I access the Registrar's Website?
At the main page, choose the New
Brunswick Registrar.
You
will have access to a number
of options on this page. One of the options
is to view your Grades,
Transcripts and Class Schedules. A
direct link to this is
also available at the Pharmacy
homepage. The

In
order to view your class schedule, you will need
to have your SSN and the password for your Eden account. Students
who attended the Transfer Orientation were provided
with the opportunity to setup their Eden account.

6. When
am I able to register for my own classes?
Transfer
students will be able to register for
their own classes beginning
with the Spring semester. However,
once students have attended the first week of classes,
they will be eligible to adjust the sections of the
courses for which they are registered.

Section
III: Curriculum
and Scholastic Standing Questions
1. Do
I have to follow the curriculum as it is listed
in the Undergraduate Catalog?
Yes. Students are expected to follow the program
of study as outlined in the Undergraduate Catalog. Deviations
from the program need to be discussed
with the Office of Academic Services
because it may affect your graduation
date.

2. Must
I complete all first and second year courses before
entering the third year?
Yes. In
order to enter the third year of the
Ernest Mario School of
Pharmacy program, students are
expected to complete all first and second
year courses before they enter the
third year. The
reason for this is that the first two
years worth of courses are foundational
courses from which you
will
draw when you begin your professional studies.
In the same way, students will be
expected to complete all
third year courses before
they enter the fourth year and all fourth year
courses before they enter the fifth year.

3. What
happens if I fail a course?
Depending
upon the course that is failed,
students may be required to repeat
the course. Information
regarding Scholastic Standing
may be found online at the
Office of
Academic Services Website.

4. What
are the progression standards at the School for
students in the All-Pharm.D. Curriculum?
Students in the Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy are
expected to maintain a high level of academic performance.
The academic progression standards for first and second year
students are:
- First
pre-professional year students must achieve a minimum 2.800
cumulative grade point average at the end of the
first year and through the first term of the second
year in the program.
- Second
pre-professional year students must achieve a 2.800 cumulative
and professional grade point average by the end
of the second year.
Thereafter, students entering the all-Pharm.D. Program
are expected to maintain a minimum of a 2.500 cumulative
and professional grade point average.
In
addition, students in the
all-Pharm.D. program who repeat courses will
have both the original grade
and the new grade counted
in their cumulative GPA
and their degree credits.

expected of Pharmacy students
are outlined in the Pharmacy section of the
2003-2005 New Brunswick Undergraduate
Catalog. The

based upon a students performance
