Italian Studies at Rutgers promotes the interdisciplinary study of all areas relating to Italian and Italian American history and culture. Faculty from affiliated departments teaches seminars and lecture classes for undergraduates and encourages stimulating exchange by sponsoring symposia, lectures and cultural events for members of the Rutgers community and the wider public interested in Italy and the Italian American experience. Italian Studies is proud to collaborate closely with the New Jersey Institute of Italian and Italian American Heritage, which is hosted by Rutgers University.
