Please DO NOT submit the entire entry for your protein, or even worse the URL for the entire entry for your protein.
What I want in your submission is the accession number, the name of the organism, the name of the protein (if possible, or designation of the protein), and the complete SEQUENCE of the protein with your name marked in it. If you can't underline use parens or brackets and/or tell me where to look.
Don't cooperate with others as this is for class credit.
Gaps are bad, don't have more than one gap. If your name is "MARY" and you submit "MXAXXXRXXYXXX" you're getting a zero.
If you email your assignment send from eden (which is excluded from my SPAM folder) rather than yahoo, hotmail, gmail, etc. (which might easily go into my SPAM folder).
NOTE I do not generally reply to BLAST emails, don't expect a reply
