Honor
Societies

OFSA administers membership in three honor societies to recognize
outstanding achievements by fraternity and sorority men and women.
Gamma Sigma Alpha Greek Academic Honor Society, Rho Lambda and the
National Order of Omega hold membership drives each semester. Students
interested in pursuing membership can find more information here.

Sigma Alpha |
| Gamma Sigma Alpha, the National Greek Academic
Honor Society, is open to upperclass students that have completed
60 hours or more with a 3.5 cumulative grade point average or a 3.5
grade point average in any semester of their junior or senior years.
There is a one-time membership fee of $35 to cover the membership
badge and certificate. Students interested in joining only need to
complete an interest form and return it to OFSA. |

| Order
of Omega |
|
The National Order of Omega is an honor society for fraternity
and sorority members. Members are selected based on character, scholarship,
participation in the Greek community and service to the university
and New Brunswick community. Students who have completed 60 credits
or more, with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher are eligible to
apply for membership. Membership in The Order is based on an application
process and is limited to 3% of the entire Greek community. A one-time
membership fee of $60 is assessed at the time of initiation.

Lambda |
| Rho Lambda National Honorary recognizes
sorority women in the RPHC and Panhellenic who have displayed outstanding
leadership ability and loyalty throughout their years of membership.
To be eligible for membership women must be upperclassmen with at
least a 2.5 cumulative grade point average and must have been active
initiated members for at least two semesters. Membership in Rho Lambda
is based on an application process and is limited to 10% of the total
number of sorority women on campus. A one-time membership fee of $42
is assessed at the time of initiation. |
