Course Description:

This course is an introduction to the Islamic belief system as outlined in the Qur’an, the holy book of Islam, and Hadith literature—the words and deeds of Muhammad as related by a chain of narrators.

Course Design and Procedures:

Given the intensive nature of the course, students are strongly urged to attend the classes regularly and to actively participate in class discussions.  The final grades for the course will be calculated on the following basis:

Class attendance and participation

Two hourly tests:
