Chrystal
McArthur (M.Ed. in counseling, A.B. in psychology),
Site Supervisor. Chrystal is the director of the 46 College
Avenue Career Services office at Rutgers University. She is
a nationally certified counselor with over 25 years of professional
experience providing career counseling and career management
for undergraduate, graduate, and high school students. One of
Chrystal's special interest areas is adult mid-career transitions.
Over the years she has written numerous articles related to
career management. Her professional memberships include the
American Counseling Association, the National Career Development
Association, the Middle Atlantic Career Counseling Association,
and the Metropolitan New York City Placement Officers Association. |

Barbara
T. Melamed (M.S.in Counseling and Human Services,
Florida State University, B.A. in psychology, Susquehanna University),
site development/content development. Barbara has provided academic
advising and career development services to college students
at Florida State University, Towson State University, and Monmouth
University. She was also involved with the development of a
computerized career information system for the Florida Department
of Education. Barbara has worked at Rutgers University since
1991, focusing on advising first and second-year students, developing
innovative career resources for students, and website development. |

Estelle
Browne Pallrand (ABD in social/philosophical
foundations, Rutgers University, MBA, University of Chicago,
M.S. in art history, Syracuse University, B.A. in art history/art
education, University of Chicago), content development. Estelle
has been involved in providing educational services to students
at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, Princeton
High School, and Princeton University. She was also a vice president
of design administration for Spring Industries, a career management
specialist at Rutgers University, where she acted as an information
specialist and liason to the Graduate School of Education and
School of Communication Information and Library Studies, as
well as specialized in counseling upperclass and graduate students. |

Douglas
Ricci, NCC, NCCC, LPC (M.A. in counseling
psychology, The College of New Jersey, B.S. in life science,
New York Institute of Technology), content development.
He is a licensed professional counselor in New Jersey,
a national certified counselor, and a national certified
career counselor. Doug is a partner in Career Planning
Concepts and is on staff at Rutgers University Office
of Career Services. He has served as assistant director
of Career Services at The College of New Jersey, and has
taught career counseling and vocational psychology at
TCNJ. At Rutgers Doug works primarily with first and second-year
students and alumni. He presents workshops on career development,
career life-planning, decision making, educational assessment,
stress management and work-life balance issues.
