Employer Information Sessions

Employer information sessions are a great way to gather information and make a personal impact on the employers of your choice. Each year over 100 organizations host information sessions. They are open to all students of all years. Most events are scheduled at the Busch Campus Center, and generally meet from 5:00 - 7:00 or 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.
The sessions are a great way to:
bullet Learn more about an employer in which you have an interest
bullet Build your network of professional contacts
bullet Ask about summer internship opportunities

Here are some tips to make the most of information sessions:

bullet "Business casual" dress is appropriate. Avoid wearing jeans, T-shirts or shorts.

bullet Be prepared to ask one or two questions. This may make you stand out.
bullet Be sure to bring along several copies of your resume to leave with recruiters.
bullet After the formal presentation, be sure to mingle and network.
bullet Light refreshments are usually served.
