Andrew Goldstone

I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of English at Rutgers University, New Brunswick. I study twentieth-century literature in English. I am the author of Fictions of Autonomy: Modernism from Wilde to de Man (Oxford University Press, 2013). My research interests include modernism, the sociology of literature, literary theory, aesthetics, the problem of world literature, the history of genre fiction, Indian literature in the English and American languages, and computational approaches to literary study.

This website hosts materials related to my work at Rutgers. My principal website is, where you can find out more about my research and teaching. I have a blog there too.
