Nick
Corcodilos: Nick Corcodilos is a professional
headhunter and author of Ask
The Headhunter: Reinventing The Interview to Win The Job (Penguin/Plume, 1997). Nick started headhunting in 1979 in one of
America's most competitive job markets: California's Silicon Valley.
Using the methods described in his book and on the ATH forum, he has
helped people win management and staff jobs in companies including
Xerox, IBM, GE, Hewlett-Packard, Tandem, and Honeywell. Featured in The Wall Street Journal, The
New York Times, Fast Company, on
CNNfn, CNBC, and MSNBC, Nick's iconoclastic job search, hiring, and
career development techniques are used by companies like AT&T,
Merrill Lynch, Becton Dickinson, Disney, and Procter & Gamble. The
managing director of North Bridge Group, Nick holds a bachelor's degree
(Phi Beta Kappa) from Rutgers College, where he was a Henry Rutgers
Scholar, and a master's degree from Stanford University. He plays music
(keyboard and guitar) and enjoys Chi Gung and Tai Chi, backpacking, and
kayaking. He loves his work, but would rather be in Montana climbing
big rocks. |

Paula J. Schwanenflugel, Ph.D.: I currently serve as a
Professor in the Department of Educational Psychology and
Instructional Technology as well as the Program Coordinator for Applied
Cognition and Development (ACD). My research interests include
cognition and cognitive development, psycholinguistics, early reading
and preliteracy, and vocabulary development.
