Meeting called to order at 12:17pm

February Minutes were not available and postponed until April.

President's Office Report – Steve Otzenberger

Pay for Performance instructions were sent out to Provost offices in beginning of March. Training sessions for A/P/S staff have been setup and most have attended. Provost is giving monies to groups based on total salary of staff. Only half of that money can go to salary improvement. Salary improvement cannot take an individual over what their Step 8 salary would have been. Self sustaining and Grant units must come up with their own money for salary improvements.

    President's Report – Pat Grove

Pat was away from the University.

    Executive Committee

No Reports from the Excutive Committees.

    Committee Reports

    (Election, Nominations and) Membership

Declaration of membership letters went out to all A/P/S staff in beginning of March. Two hundred mailings were lost going to the Newark campus. (see attached)

    (Bylaws Committee),/b>

Committee is working with QCI to get help on establishing who WE are, what WE are and what the Assembly should be doing to better help our constituents. The committee is still looking for members. See either Tina or Sue.

    New Business

Charlie: Asking Steve to look into to see what can be done to get 403b Retirement plan to be equal to the 401k plans offered in the State of NJ. Currently the 403b is not tax exempt at the state level as is the 401k.

    Meeting was adjourned at 12:50pm
