Prior to the opening of the meeting, the agenda was approved.
The meeting was called to order at 12:07 p.m. Septembers minutes were approved without corrections.
President's Office Report, Sandy Russlle:
Update on pay-for-performance. Dates for distribution of monies: Jun 9, 2000, retro pay to Jul 1, 1999; Jul 31, 2000, second increase. This is for people that received either meets requirements or regularly exceeds requirements. For those that receive does not meet requirements a re-evaluation will be conducted six months after the original one, and if improvement is made then those people will see the increase in their Nov 1, 2000 paycheck. Training pilot was set for key Directors and Managers for December 8th. Late December, January is being set up for Train the Trainer, which will focus on standards and a means to measure them.
Assembly President's Report, Pat Grove:
Betsy had a baby boy, Bob DiMartino was recovering from surgery and our condolences to Paulette on the loss of her husband.
Sue took over the meeting at 12:30pm
Salary, Comp., Benefits - Researching the Transit Check program. A motion was put on the floor for approval for a Pre-tax transit check system. The committee was also looking into a way to benchmark RU contributions towards retirement as compared to other Universities.
Bylaws - Waiting to see outcome of Union vote.
Awards - Looking at President award nominees.
The meeting was adjourned at 12:40 p.m.
