The African Studies Association Annual Meeting Exhibit provides publishers, organizations and other producers of African studies materials with the opportunity to display books, educational materials, software, and other items. All registered conference participants are invited to visit the exhibit. Special free one-day and discount passes are available to local residents and guests.

Wednesday, December 4  1pm-5pm

Exhibitor Dismantle
Sunday, December 8  1pm-5pm
Hall must be vacated by 5pm. No dismantling of booths may begin until the exhibit closes at 1pm on Sunday, December 8. Exhibits must be packed and ready for shipment by 5pm on Sunday.
 

Booth Rental
Each 8x10 booth will be equipped with one 6’ skirted table, two contour chairs, one wastebasket, and one 7x4 one line I.D. sign. Exhibitors are responsible for any additional costs incurred, including but not limited to shipping, storage, labor, lighting, and electrical, telephone and internet connection.

$725 Commercial/University  $625 each additional space

$625 Charitable Organization  $525 each additional space (Items not for sale)

*Rates increase 25% after September 1. Please reserve and make payment prior to September 1 to ensure above discounted rates.
 

Advertising
Advertisements appear in the Annual Meeting program booklet, which is distributed to conference attendees. The deadline for program advertisements is September 1. Advertisements may be sent electronically to both Jeffrey M. Herndon, aurorajeff@bellsouth.net and Michelle Peterson, michpete@rci.rutgers.edu. The best programs to use are Quark, Photoshop and Illustrator. We also accept Adobe InDesign and Pagemaker.
