 I am a professor in the Department of Sociology and Institute for Health, Health Care Policy & Aging Research at Rutgers University.  I graduated from Connecticut College, and received my Ph.D. from the Department of Sociology at University of Wisconsin-Madison.  My research and teaching interests focus on sociology of the life course, aging, social psychology, and gender.
