Countermeasures Against Bioterrorism in New Jersey:
The UNDNJ-Rutgers University CounterACT Research Center of Excellence is a participant in the New Jersey Universities Consortium for Homeland Security Research. The Consortium was founded to coordinate homeland security research among faculty at New Jersey's universities and to facilitate collaboration among university faculty and between university faculty and New Jersey government officials. The Consortium is recognized by and works with the Office of the Attorney General and the Office of Homeland Security and Preparedness of the State of New Jersey as well as numerous government and military research units in the State. Participants include Rutgers University, The University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, Princeton University, Stevens Institute of Technology, New Jersey Institute of Technology, Fairleigh Dickinson University and Monmouth University. The most recent meeting was the Seventh New Jersey Universities Homeland Security Research Consortium Symposium, held on November 20, 2006.

New Jersey Preparedness Training Consortium (NJ-PTC) - Together with the UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, several courses are available designed to train primary care physicians in the event of a terrorist attack. These courses are available online at the Center for Continuing and Outreach Education program.
