General Honors Program

Entering students are recruited from high school to participate in this four year program. The academic program consists of first-term honors courses, honors seminars in the spring term of the first and second years, and graduated research projects beginning in the second term or year and typically culminating in a George H. George H. Cook Scholars Program

The George H. Cook Scholars Program is the School on Environmental and Biological Sciences's senior honors thesis program. Candidates draft and present a proposal in the second term of the junior year, complete the six to twelve credit project in the senior year, and defend the thesis publicly at its conclusion.
