Career Services Video Contest

Current Rutgers University - New Brunswick students have the opportunity to make a promotional video for Career Services focusing on "How Career Services Can Help U." This video will provide the chance to be creative, have fun, and win prizes. The deadline for submission is Friday, November 4, 2011.

First place will receive a $200 award; second place a $100 award; and third place a $50 award.

Guidelines/Rules

The video should be between 30 seconds and 3 minutes in length.
The video must be clean, both in image and language.
Videos must be your original work and created by you for this contest.
Background music must be original or from a source that allows its use.
The following information about Rutgers University Career Services (CS) must be included:

1 - Locations of the CS offices - Busch Campus Center, 46 College Ave, 56 College Ave.

2 - CS website - careerservices.rutgers.edu.

3 - The theme for this video contest is "The Rutgers Internship and Co-op Program." Your video should cover topics such as:
The contest is open to all currently matriculated RU - New Brunswick students only.
Students may work in teams. The prizes awarded will be the same, regardless of the number of team members.
Judging will be done through two phases. CS staff and student interns will choose the finalists and the winners will be chosen by students voting online.
Submissions should contain the name of your video, names of team members, and an email address and phone number for future contact. To submit your video:

1 - Send an email message to bthomson@echo.rutgers.edu, and

2 - Bring the video to Barbara Thomson at 56 College Avenue by November 4, 2011 .
Prizes will be given to the top 3 videos and those videos will be posted on the CS website via YouTube.
Videos must be submitted by November 4, 2011. Finalists will be notified by November 11. Voting will take place from November 14 - November 17.
All entries and materials submitted become the property of CS and will be used as deemed fit by CS or Rutgers University.
