Event Description: Strategies for Ending Violence Against Women: Community, National and International Perspectives. Please join IWDA for a panel discussion in Sydney during the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender Violence, an international campaign linking violence against women and human rights. The discussion will focus on violence against women in the Pacific and within Australia and explore strategies for moving forward (see attachment). Cost: $15/$10 concession proceeds go to IWDA. Over 100 events, as well as posters and resources will be produced and displayed in public spaces to raise awareness of violence against women.  Our campaign is focused on encouraging individuals and communities to take action to help make the lives of women and children safer.
