
Connie A. Ellis is the Corporate Programs Director for the Center for Woman and Work and the Institute for Women’s Leadership. She is currently pursuing a Masters of Arts in Labor and Employment Relations and received a Bachelors of Arts from the School of Management and Labor Relations, Rutgers University.
For the past four years Connie has served as the Program Coordinator for the Rites of Passage Program in Trenton, New Jersey. The program is designed for girls ages 8 – 18 to provide a one on one relationship between the mentor and mentee to develop awareness of civic, cultural and personal responsibility.
Prior to coming to Rutgers Connie worked at Tyco International as a Project Manager for the Corporate Audit Department. Primary responsibilities included re-positioning 104 corporate auditors globally as a result of the company dividing into three separate companies, training and leadership development.
