Heartbeat of a Kamikaze (DRAFT)

( R ) So I will not salute our flag, our nation
See it as just a sign lack of admiration

For the one thing I've learned in all my years
Is the government's wine is the people's tears

When I was young, an uneducated fool
Playing on the streets cause torture was school

I looked up to my peer cause my peer was the one
He gave me his way, then he gave me his gun

Violence was my outlet, a way to unwind
Harassing the city, each way, each day, each crime

But soon I would learn, better to earn than take
Reformed my life, declared past mistake

Until one day 3 kids appeared in to my sight
Went out to rob the wrong man 'cause he was white

I heard the old familiar sound, 4 gun shots
One misplaced in my back, by the cops

So I learned and listened, still waiting on my turn
Thanks to those men, eternally I will burn

And I will have never become fully resolved
Shot in a fight, I wasn't even involved
