Rutgers is Big East Champion for the first time ever in any sport!
It was an exciting game, cold and windy. All goals were scored in the
"downwind" goal. The game was supposed to be played in CT but was moved
back to Rutgers on account of snow in CT.

Nov 23	NCAA Tournament
	MARYLAND L 0-1

Rutgers suffered a bitter loss in a badly refereed game -- several fouls
in the box were not called, any of which would have resulted in a Rutgers
penalty kick that could have changed the outcome. Maryland lost in the
second round, and eventually UCLA beat both Indiana and Virginia to become
NCAA national champion.
