RESEARCH INTERESTS:

I am interested in the applications of geomatics [space based remote sensing, near surface geophysical investigations, geographic information systems, and photogrammetry] for natural resource assessment, site location, environmental and ecological analysis in paleoanthropological and archaeological investigations. One of my particular research interests is the incorporation of ecological methods and theory into the study of Man's past use and interaction with the environment. Additional interests include: regional and landscape scale archaeological interpretations, survey theory and methodology, settlement and spatial analysis which incorporate geographic information systems, relational database, and high-level statistical interpretations, and nondestructive subsurface archaeological investigation using near-surface geophysical instrumentation.
