  Solving the New Jersey Succession Problem
In May 2002, Eagleton's New Jersey Project director Ingrid Reed wrote an article published in the New Jersey Law Journal about the gubernatorial succession problem in New Jersey. In August of 2002, the Law Journal editorial board agreed that the New Jersey system needs rethinking and discussed alternatives to succession similar to the ones in Reed's article.
