Two characters, an actor and an aristocrat (the Marquis de...)
play a dangerous game based on artistic truth and lies in pre-revolutionary
France. This fascinating dialogue with death reveals surprise after surprise
within an
intriguing philosophical context. The Audition has been translated into six
languages and performed all around Europe.
Set: single set of eighteenth-century living-room, although
has been performed in updated versions.
