The
Urusov Gambit Is in Trouble by Tim Harding
A very short article at Emazing.com that mentions my original
Urusov web site.
Opening
Lanes, by Gary Lane
The author of Winning with the Bishop's Opening revisits
the Urusov in his column at Chess Cafe, analyzing two games.
This is a PDF file that requires Acrobat Reader to view.
Teil:
Tips fuer Weisspieler 1.e4
Part of Armin Fingerhut´s "Eroeffnungstips"
(Opening Tips), in German but perfectly comprehensible --
so long as you remember Laufer for Bishop and Springer for
Knight and Dama for Queen, etc.
Urusoff
Gambit, by Soren Galberg-Lund -- NO LONGER AVAILABLE?
A 50-page text file that analyzes the Urusov Gambit and the
Perreux Variation of the Two Knights Defense. An English translation
of the author's Urusovuv Gambit book. Last I looked
this link was broken. Galberg-Lund's analysis was questionable
and the translation of his writing was really hard to work
through, but some of the games were not available elsewhere.
I see, though, that Max Burkett has mostly added them to his
collection.
The
Bishop's Opening, Urusov Gambit
A simple file with loads of ads that covers only the 4...Nxe4
line. I include a link just to be thorough, but don't bother.
The
65th Square: Bishop's Opening, Berlin Defense, Urusov Gambit
Simple information to help readers identify these variations.
But you know all this.
