Live the Italian experience at Rutgers University!

Join the Italian House at the Global Village - Corwin, Douglass Campus. You will have a chance to live with people who share your interest in Italian in a small cozy environment. Take advantage of the nearby Corwin Computer Lab! Live in a house, not a huge dorm!

Join in cultural excursions, such as attending operas and art exhibits that will broaden your knowledge of Italy. Take part in cultural activities with the faculty of the Department of Italian, such as open houses and coffee hours.

The director is an instructor at the Department of Italian and a native speaker of the language who will be teaching a 1.5 credit course (per semester) on Italian Language and Culture.

As a member of the Global Village, you will be eligible for a special study abroad scholarship offered by Douglass college, and you will have a chance to interact with other members of the other Language and Culture houses learning about their heritage.

To be eligible to join the Italian House you must be a Rutgers University woman (sorry, guys!!!) who has completed, or is in the process of completing elementary Italian courses (Italian 101 and 102). Freshmen are welcome!
