Summer In Italy 2008
The department of Italian at Rutgers University, in association with the Department of Art History, offers an undergraduate summer program in Italy in the beautiful Renaissance city of Urbino to provide students at various levels with an opportunity to study Italian in its natural environment.
The courses offered include Elementary and Intermediate Italian, Advanced Conversation and Civilization, and Italian Literature of the Renaissance.
The program also offers a two part course in Italian Renaissance art. Those students who will enroll in the course will be able to take advantage of the immense resources that Urbino and other Italian cities provide in this particular field.
All students will be housed in the student residence at the University of Urbino. Three meals a day will be provided. Program costs also include group excursions to some of the most beautiful cities in Italy, such as Ravenna, Florence, and Venice.
