This is from a panel called "Reality Checks: History confronts Moral
and Political Philosophy", and the Center for Human Values at
Princeton, sometime during a snowstorm in 2009. The panelists were
Michael Walzer, Philip Pettit, Sankar Muthu, and myself. It was
organized by Fania Oz-Salzberger and Andreas Kalyvas.
Here is a video of the full panel - I come on at 55:12.
This is from a panel on Philosophical Progress and Intellectual
Culture, in September 2011. The panelists were me and Carlin Romano,
critic-at-large at the Chronicle of Higher Education. The task was
supposed to be to discuss the relationship between philosophy and the
rest of intellectual culture.
Here is a video of the panel.
