Grades:
Participation (20%).
Summaries (15%). You must provide a short (about 1/4 page) summary of every reading. These must be typed and single spaced, using a font of no less than 12 characters per inch. Summaries are due by the date indicated in the syllabus associated with each reading. Summaries will not be accepted after the start of class on the date they are due.
In-class midterm (mixed, multiple choice & essay) (20%)
1 paper, due 4/27 (20%). I will give you more details about this later in the semester.
Final exam (25%). This may be in class or take home. It will be mostly essay, but may include some multiple choice questions.
