HOW TO ACCESS READINGS ON THE WEB, VIA RUTGERS
ELECTRONIC RESERVE SYSTEM.

Go to a pc with both web access and adobe acrobat.

Then go to:
www.rutgers.edu

click on libraries (from pulldown menu on right, under "quick links")

click on "Find Reserves" in grey column on left.

Type in Jussim where it says "search term" and then click on "instructor" where it says "search type"

This brings you to a list of faculty.  Click on "Jussim."

This now brings you to links for my classes with electronic reserves.
Click on the link for the class for which you need to find readings.

When you find the article you want, click on the "view" button.
Then, click the link to the right of  "electronic access."

NOTE: Some articles sometimes have to be broken up into multiple links, because they
were too long.  In these cases, you may have to click two links to get the
whole article.

Once you get to an article, you can either save it to your hard drive or
diskette and/or print it out.

WARNINGS

1. Be sure to click on the correct class link.

2. The libraries automatically put readings in alphabetical order based on the TITLE.
However, this ordering ignores little words like "A" or "The".  These readings
ARE NOT in the order they appear in the syllabus. They ARE NOT
in alphabetical order based on author.  So you may have to do some searching around.

3. IRIS/RESERVE only displays up to 20 articles.  If more than 20 are
required, you may have to go to the next page to find the article you are looking
for.
