Letters to Elected Officials

Letter to Governor James McGreevey regarding Rutgers Name Change - In October 2002, New Jersey Governor James McGreevey proposed a merger of state higher education institutions that threatened to change the name "Rutgers."  I sent this letter to him as part of a successful campaign by University alumni to keep our alma mater's name intact.

Letter to Rush Holt (D-NJ) regarding Permanent Free Trade for China - I wrote to my Senators and Congressman in May 2000, asking them to oppose Permanent Free Trade for China.  Congressman Holt voted against the bill in a losing effort.
