Only 38 (24%) of the 152 active ECUSA bishops invited to Lambeth 1998 were bishops in 1988 and eligible to attend the penultimate Lambeth.

Fifty-four (36%) ECUSA bishops at Lambeth in 1998 will be 65 or younger in 2008 and thus will have have a good chance of being invited back. The actual number of these to return will be smaller if bishops continue to retire at 63.85, the average age at which all ECUSA retired bishops now living retired.

It is interesting to see how these 54 voted on the sexuality resolution and to see who has and has not signed the pastoral statement to lesbians and gays:

20 (39%) have signed the Pastoral.

Most (40 or 74%) of the votes on the sexuality resolution are not yet known. Of the 14 votes known,

3 (21%) voted for the resolution,
7 (50%) voted against it,
4 (29%) abstained of were absent.
