Strong Arm Tactics:

A History and Statistical Analysis of the Professional Quarterback

The XFL

Produced by NBC and the World Wrestling Federation in 2001, the bombastic and boorish XFL tried to fashion itself as an NFL competitor but was strictly bush league. Its only importance in professional football history is that it restarted the career of Tommy Maddox who resurfaced in Pittsburgh once the XFL collapsed after three months. The first table lists the leading passers of the XFL, and the second compares NFL and XFL statistics where applicable.
