Michael Fuerstein

I am spending the 2009-2010 academic year as a postdoctoral fellow at Rutgers University in the Center for Cultural Analysis.  I recently completed my PhD in the Department of Philosophy at Columbia.   In my dissertation, I assessed the role of scientific norms of inquiry in democratic society.  I have interests in political philosophy, pragmatism, and the social aspects of epistemology and the philosophy of science.  Follow the links above for more information about my background, research, and teaching interests.
