Natural Setting Therapeutic Management:

NSTM is a behavioral consultation and training program designed for families and staff who live with and serve people with developmental disabilities and challenging behaviors. The primary objective of the Project is to teach care providers methods to construct and maintain a behaviorally therapeutic environment at home. A major emphasis is on the development of behavioral competence in the individuals who care for and serve the referred consumer, the goal being not only to improve their ability to understand behavioral principles, but more importantly, to carry them out on a daily basis. Once competency is achieved, the lives of all involved will be enriched as family/staff and consumer alike will have better control over their lives.
