Doreen
M. DiDomenico, Ph.D.
Doreen M. DiDomenico is a Senior Behavior Specialist
and has been with Project NSTM since 1989. Acting as a treatment team
leader, she provides behavioral consultation and training to the care
providers that NSTM serves. She provides clinical supervision to junior-level
staff on the project, as well as to doctoral students training for
careers in developmental disabilities. As Training Coordinator, she
arranges and oversees training for new staff and continuing education
for all project staff. In accord with NSTM's contract with Divison
of Developmental Disabilities (DDD), Dr. DiDomenico provides periodic
behavior management workshops to professional staff members throughout
the state of New Jersey. She serves as a behavioral consultant to
several agencies providing residential, vocational, early intervention
and recreational services to individuals with developmental disabilities.
She is a licensed clinical psychologist and an active member of the
American Psychological Association, Association for advancement in
Behavior Therapy, American Association on Mental Retardation, and
National Association for the Dually Diagnosed. Dr. DiDomenico regularly
presents at professional conferences on issues pertaining to behavioral
intervention and parent/professional collaboration in special needs
settings.
