Julia Turovsky, Ph.D.
Julia Turovsky is a Behavior
Specialist I and has been with the Project since 1997. In her role
as a treatment team leader, she provides behavioral consultation and
training to caregivers of individuals with developmental disabilities
with severe behavioral problems. She provides clinical supervision
to both junior staff members, as well as doctoral students working
with the Project as part of their clinical training. In accord with
the NSTM contract with DDD, Dr. Turovsky provides periodic behavior
management workshops to professional staff members throughout the
state. Additionally, she serves as a behavioral consultant to agencies
providing residential services to individuals with developmental disabilities.
Dr. Turovsky's clinical and research interests include the evaluation
and treatment of anxiety disorders in individuals with developmental
disabilities.
