In
2000, Rutgers
began to design and implement a university-wide, integrated
web-based administrative system (RIAS) to support Rutgers' strategic
direction of providing employees with tools and data to make better
decisions and streamline business processes to take advantage of best
business practices. The first phase of the project, Procure to
Pay, was implemented in July 2002.
The
University is moving forward with RIAS Phase II - Financial Accounting
and Reporting which is expected to be implemented during the
