Data and Economics Librarian, New Brunswick Libraries, Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, 2008-

·          Responsible for numeric data collections, primarily in the social sciences, supporting quantitative research at Rutgers.

·          Provide individual consultation, in person and electronically, on data services with faculty and students.

·          Plan and deliver data services electronically and in the Libraries’ Data Center.

·          Responsible for all aspects of collection development in the areas of economics and agricultural economics for the New Brunswick Libraries.

·          Provide bibliographic instruction for courses and research consultation for faculty and students to the Departments of Economics and Agriculture, Food and Resource Economics, as well as other social science disciplines.

·          Develop and maintain online subject research guides and other electronic guides to numeric data and economics, including RutgersData blog (rutgersdata.wordpress.com).

·          General reference duties include regular desk hours at Alexander Library and Kilmer Library, and participation in e-mail and chat reference service.

·          Participate in selection and evaluation of systemwide electronic resources.

·          Granted tenure and promotion to the rank of Librarian II in 2005.

·          Responsible for all aspects of collection development in the areas of business, economics, agricultural economics, and career information for the New Brunswick Libraries.

·          Responsible for training New Brunswick Libraries' faculty and staff on databases and resources in business and economics.

·          Maintained “Wild Card” guide to truncation symbols, 1999-2009.
