Fish-Hook Folds

Fish-hook folds developed in brown calc-silicate layers interlayered with marble, Namibia. These structures originally resembled the intrafolial folds shown in the previous slide, but the thinning of the limbs in this case has progressed so far that virtually all that remains of the folded brown layers are the fold hinges.
