Program in Science Learning

Welcome

The Program in Science Learning evolved from the Teacher Education Program in the School of Biological and Environmental Sciences at Rutgers University.  We offer a Teacher Education Minor and we work with the Graduate School of Education in the 5-year certification/masters program.  We also offer a new and popular Professional Youth Work Minor and Certificate program, which serves students who are looking to work with individuals (K-Life) in free-choice learning environments.

Our program is also involved in research and outreach which seeks to understand science learning in a variety of settings.  Click on the tabs to the left to learn more!  Visit the careers page to find out more about how to become a teacher.

Please contact us if there are other questions you need answered.
