Institutional Review Board for the Protection
of Human Subjects
The IRB reviews all human subjects research to ensure that
participants experience no harm and give informed consent.
This site has all of the information and forms necessary to
prepare applications for IRB review, as well as information
about the level of review required for different kinds of projects. Also, there is information about the Human Subjects
Certification Program, which is an educational program that all
researchers are required to complete.  As the Departmental
Liaison to the IRB, I will be glad to help you prepare your IRB
applications
for review.

Teaching Excellence Center
The TEC has many resources for faculty, including smart
classroom instruction and support, student instructional
ratings, guides for teaching portfolios, presentations, and
instructional technologies, and the media center for movies
and videos.  The TEC also hosts an annual teaching conference.
