RICHARD W. BEATTY
DIRECTOR, MASTER IN HUMAN RESOURCE LEADERSHIP PROGRAM AND PROFESSOR
Conducts research focusing on the areas of performance measurement, compensation, and human resource strategy. Results of his work have been published in such journals as the Journal of Applied Psychology, Personnel Psychology, Academy of Management, Journal of Management, Organizational Dynamics, and Sloan Management Review. His books include: Personnel Management: An Experiential Skill Building Approach, Performance Appraisal: Assessing Human Behavior at Work, The Productivity Sourcebook, and The Workforce Scorecard: Human Capital and Strategy Execution. He is the past-president of the Society for Human Resource Management Foundation, associate editor of Human Resource Management, and served on the editorial board of the Academy of Management Review and Human Resource Planning. He twice received the outstanding article award from the Human Resource Planning Society and received the best book award from the Society of Human Resource Management.
