Book Collection
Paul Robeson Library is known for having a
very strong undergraduate collection. Students also have access to the
materials at any of the other Rutgers University Libraries, as well as
the ability to order any needed materials from libraries outside of Rutgers.
Our book collection: includes 245, 625 print volumes in all subjects to
support the curriculum and student research, with easy access to the
3,295,373 volumes held throughout the Rutgers University Libraries includes a growing number of electronic books,
including a large collection of Renaissance and early modern English
books and a database of African-American poetry follows the Library of Congress Classification
System, with all books located in the lower level except Reference books
and circulating books with call numbers starting with the letter H,
which are located on the main floor |

Journal Collection

The library houses or has access to a large number of magazines and
journals: the current issues of print journals are on the
main floor older issues of print journals are on the upper
floor (a few are on microfilm on the main floor) electronic journals are available in the library,
computer labs on campus, and from your home or office, if you have a
Rutgers computing account as with books, copies of articles held at other
Rutgers University Libraries, or other libraries throughout the world,
can easily be requested |
