By Plane
The airport closest to the Rutgers campus is Newark International. Further information about transportation to and from this bustling place, including a list of airlines serving it, is available from the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey.

FROM AIRPORT TO NEW BRUNSWICK
The New Jersey Transit Airlink (973.762-5100 out-of state) carries people to and from Newark Airport and Newark Penn Station. At Newark Penn Station, catch NJ Transit rail service to and from New Brunswick. Airlink fare is $4 one way.

By Train
Train service to New Brunswick includes:

New Jersey Transit (973.762-5100 out-of state), which runs express and local trains on the Northeast Corridor Line to New Brunwick from New York City Pennsylvania Station and Newark Penn Station, and from Trenton. Catch SEPTA (215.580-7800) from Philadelphia to Trenton.

Amtrak (1.800.USA-RAIL), which runs limited service to New Brunswick from New York City and Philadelphia; connections can be made from Amtrak to NJ Transit from stations at New York, Newark, MetroPark and Trenton.

Taxi service is available at the New Brunswick train station.

Rutgers University Campus Bus Route "EE" provides free transportation from the train station to the Douglass College Center, and runs every 20 minutes on Saturdays. The bus stop is located at the corner of Somerset and George Streets.

By Bus
Bus service to New Brunswick  includes:

Suburban Transit (1.800.222-0492) from the New York City Port Authority Bus Terminal in glittering Times Square.

Newark is the closest stop of major interstate bus lines such as Greyhound and Peter Pan.

TRANSPORTATION ON CAMPUS
Rutgers has a bus system to serve its relatively far-flung campuses. This system follows a somewhat inconvenient weekend schedule. Maps and schedules are available.

TRANSPORTATION FROM HOTEL TO CAMPUS
