Note: You may have one of two models of GPS units.  They are essentially the same except for the steps to find the Accuracy, or GPS error.  The difference is noted in the 'Guide we made'

Legend H users: the error can be found by navigating to the 'Satellite Page' from the 'Main Menu'. In the lower right you will see the error noted as "+/- ___ feet"

Take this handy, 1 page guide (pdf) that outlines the  data collection methods

Here are the data sheets:

The following should be already in your kits. Only print if necessary.

1) land use data sheet (pdf)--you will need just one of this 2-page document. You can print on both sides. 1 page will be used at the validation trail.

2) main data sheet (pdf)--you should be armed with twenty (20) of these! You may not need all of them, but better to be safe. Feel free to print double-sided.

3) Validation trail data sheet (pdf)--Print 10. Be sure to write your volunteer code!
