Program name and description: Honors Courses & Independent Study. The Center of Alcohol Studies offers a number of honors courses, seminar courses, and independent study opportunities that can be taken by undergraduates. Some examples include Rutgers College Honors course 12:090:281, Alcohol Use/Abuse: Social and Neurobiological Aspects; the Douglass and University College Honors course, Implications of Alcohol Use in American Society; Independent Study and Research in Psychology, 01:830:391, 392 and 01:830:496, 497; Independent study in conjunction with the Bloustein School, 10:832:399; Seminar with the Bloustein School, 10:975:494; Honors in Sociology: 920:497, 498; Independent Studies in Biology.
