Almost all Art History courses at the 300-level except for 082:367, 368, 389,
and 390 have a significant research component (several short papers or one
long paper). All 400-level courses have a significant research component.
In particular, the Senior Seminar (082:491/492) requires in-depth research
and writing skills exercised under the supervision of faculty in a
colloquium setting.
